Solosancho is a village located 20 km southwest of the city of Avila,
south of Valley Amblés. It is characterized by its beautiful landscapes,
dominate the highlands in the south and the plains in the north. The historical
and artistic heritage of the area also rises the tourist attraction.
There are two historical relics who excel in this area: The castro from Ulaca
and Castle Villaviciosa. The fort was declared Ulaca of
historical artistic monument in 1931, with the Second Republic.
Not very far from the town is situated in the Sierras and parameres Serrota.
